RO systems require new filters every 6 months, and waste water; other systems require commercial filters; Our system takes advantage of existing biological species to attack the pathogens that get into the water and well-known long-lasting carbon and ceramic components to mininimise maintenance and eliminate water waste.

Traditional toilets flush a minimum of 1 gallon of drinking water into the sewer/septic with every use. Composting toilets must be emptied/cleaned monthly or quarterly. Our Consuming Toilet has no need for septic/sewer; requires only semi-annual maintenance.
